Tucked away in the south west corner of India, Kerala is a narrow strip of land between the Arabian Sea and the Western Ghats. Kerala With its evergreen mountains, dense forests stately palms, swift flowing rivers, extensive backwaters and blue lagoons, it looks like a fairyland. Kerala is fortunate in that it can boast of balmy weather almost all the year through. Best time is November-February when the air is bracing on some mornings there is a light mist, in the hills light woolens may be required in the evenings and early mornings. Every season turns up new festivals, each a true celebration of the bounties of nature.
